Hello! I am a Creative Director / Brand Strategist based in Toronto with over 14  years of management and recruiting experience. I thrive on building multi-disciplinary, collaborative teams.  

 

I was most recently the Creative Director at MYCS in Berlin, and the Associate Creative Director at Oliver & Bonacini Hospitality (O&B) in Toronto.

At O&B, I led and mentored the in-house design and digital content team, and managed their brand strategy. I saw the company grow from just six restaurants in Toronto, to over 20 restaurants, 10+ event spaces, and an off-site catering division in four cities across Canada. I am proud to have had a hand in developing such iconic brands, expanding their digital presence, and contributing to the enormous growth at the company. 

Prior to my time at O&B, I worked at Canwest as a web designer for their television and online properties, as well as a photographer for a start-up travel company. This opportunity allowed me to travel to Turkey, Greece, New Zealand, Italy, Australia, Fiji, and all across the US and Canada. I also worked as a web and graphic designer for various record labels including BMG Music Canada (now, Sony BMG) and MapleMusic Recordings while studying in university.

  • Oversaw creative direction for all O&B associated properties (restaurants, event spaces, catering division) including their flagship restaurants, Canoe and Auberge du Pommier

  • Managed and mentored in-house creative team responsible for graphic design, advertising, copywriting, and identity creation and development

  • Upheld brand standards and created brand strategies for all restaurants and event venues

  • Worked closely with Marketing & Communications Director and stakeholders on new restaurant openings - this included the development of the name, visual identity, menu design, website, package design, signage, way-finding, etc. 

  • Oversaw art direction of photo and video shoots

  • In collaboration with an external web agency, launched and art directed over 20 websites, each with a distinct look and feel

  • Advised on digital and social media strategies

  • Fostered strong working relationships with corporate partners (HBC, Toronto International Film Festival, Saks Fifth Avenue, Remai Modern, Compass Group Canada, etc.), as well as digital and interior design agencies, printers and suppliers
